Packaging

Fresh pomegranate:

Pomegranates are packed in cartons with Net weight of about 5 kg for exportation.

Each carton Gross weight is about 5.6 kg.

Cartons have 8 types (to separate different sizes of pomegranate):

Contains 8 pomegranates	Carton type 1
Contains 9 pomegranates	Carton type 2
Contains 10 pomegranates	Carton type 3
Contains 12 pomegranate	Carton type 4
Contains 14 pomegranate	Carton type 5
Contains 15 pomegranates	Carton type 6
Contains more than 15 pomegranate	Carton type 7

There are different types of pomegranate cartons in each container as follows (and we can not change this):

10%: type 1&2&3

60%: type 4&5&6

30%: type 7

We can load about 14MT (Net weight of pomegranate) in each 40ft reefer container.

Or we can load about 2900-3100 cartons of 5 kg in each 40ft reefer container.

We have two types of pallets:

1. Small size: 106cm length and 98cm width (6 cartons in a row and 20 rows height)

2. Big size: 106cm length and 130cm width (8 cartons in a row and 20 rows height)

Each CNTR contains 10 big and 10 small size CNTRs.

Each big pallet contains 160 cartons and each small pallet contains 120 cartons.

Production time: Oct-Dec

Production area: Best regions in Iran.

Price: Will be declared in October.

Payment: By L/C after agreement signed in September.

Delivery: Within 3 weeks after receipt of L/C.
